A collection of Scottish Castles, Landscapes, and Golf Course paintings by Matt Russell
Recognised as one of the foremost artists in pastel painting today, Matt has mastered a technique of painting with pastel; mixing colours and even applying them with a brush.
This has led to his distinctive style enabling him to truly capture the beauty of the Scottish landscape, which he loves.
It is this love that has led to his collection of Scottish Castles and Landscapes.

Biography
Matt was born in Paisley, Scotland in 1936. The son of a ship builder, his love and talent for Art were evident from an early age when, at the age of six, one of his paintings was displayed at the Paisley Art Gallery and Museum.
A self-taught artist, Matt has travelled extensively, and exhibited in many distinguished galleries throughout the UK. He has also achieved great success with exhibitors further afield in both the Channel Islands and mainland Europe.
Matt is now kept busy with commissions he receives on a regular basis from an ever growing number of collectors, among whom are many famous sports and business people, but he still likes to make time to paint his first love, the Scottish landscape.
Although his originals now command high prices and he has all the success he could hope for, his proudest achievement is the fact that his portrait of H.R.H. The Queen Mother hangs in Glamis Castle, her childhood home, where it is on permanent display.
